That being said^^ ... I wouldn't even consider dumping a bunch of money on a bunch of beer that isn't what you typically like by style. Cantillon is incredible in my opinion, but you may not like what they have to offer at all.. My advice is to read some reviews on all of them, make an educated guess on what you're gonna like based on what you typically like, buy one bottle, try it, then decide if you wanna go back for more.

OK, so I just had this:

And I loved it. It's a Saison blended with a one-year-old Cantillon Lambic. I really dug how the barnyard aspects of the Saison yeast mixed with the fruity tartness of the Lambic. Does anyone know which Cantillon Lambic was used in this and/or has anyone had it before and can tell me if it's representative of what Cantillon Lambics taste like? Because, if so, I'm gonna love me some Cantillon!

How'd your trip go and did you find the Cantillon's you were after?

The Bruocsella is not everyone's cup of tea. It's unblended and pretty much dead flat.... I have drank many of Cantillon and love them all but I would not start with the Bruocsella.

Thank you for your interest. The trip went very well. I was able to score a small bottle of Rose de Gambrinus for a reasonable price ($13) at Stein's. Also, me and my girlfriend split a small bottle of Classic Gueuze at Avenue Pub for a not-so-reasonable price ($18) but it was definitely the most enjoyable Gueuze I've had to date. Saving the Rose for a special occasion. Had some other good local brews such as NOLA Hopitoulas IPA and Irish Channel Stout plus Bayou Teche Passionfruit Wheat. Also, I was able to score two Fantome bottles which was exciting since I'd never had any before.
