I just saw two bottles of each of these that are sitting on the shelves at my local store. I love Cantillon but I know that they have been sitting there (refrigerated) for at least a couple years. How do these stand up to aging? I've heard various things about aging the fruit lambics as opposed to their gueuze.

Go back, buy them all. You wont be disappointment, and if you are I'll take the Vig off your hands. Its one of my favorite beers ever made.

Anyone finding Cantillon of any age on any shelf should be considered damn lucky. Go buy it all, seriously. Someone will trade for it if you don't want it.

Vigneronne ages especially well, but I can't speak for Rose. '04 Vig was a big hit at a festival I went to last weekend. I would probably want Rose on the fresher side so as to not have too much raspberry fade, but I'm sure it's still great after a few years.

P.S. I need to go up to Canada and drink all your loons.
