Headed up this way for the weekend. Any good bottle stores to hit or brewery. I know there's that big shop in Youngstown. Is it worth the drive to it?

Bottle Shops in the Canton area: I'd go to Wales Rd. and Fishers foods first.

    Massillon/Canton, Ohio
    1. Wales road one stop - good selection, most beer is stored cold and lots of singles.
    2. Fisher Foods Fulton Road - Great selection, Growler fills, Mix-a-six.
    3. Butts and Brews Rt 62 Canton - Best selection in the area, overpriced on some stuff though. (FFFs $5 a bottle for gumballhead/alpha king)
    4. Erik's Grocery bag - Lots of singles all stored cold (watch for old beer) as a lot of it sits.
    5. Meyers Lake Beverage & Drive Thru - Drive thru, but you can park and ask to look around at the beer selection. Good selection, lots of bombers and 6/4pks stored cold.
    6. Buehler's nobles pond - Grocery store with a decent selection and some singles (most singles are $2 each so a little overpriced on those).

If you're looking for bars then I recommend The Winking Lizard on Fulton Rd. (down the street from Fishers) and The Rail at Beldon Village Mall. They have 24 Ohio beers on tap and almost all beef and ingredients are Ohio sourced.

Hoppin' Frog and Thirsty Dog are both in Akron so those would be the closest breweries.
BM me if you're looking for any specific beers and I can probably let you know where to find them if available.

Wow nice response. I'll check those out. I'm just looking for stuff that down in SC we can't get. I wish I could hit the Great Lakes Christmas ale while I was in town but I'll miss it by a few days.
