Hit Stellwagen in Marshfield and load up before you go

Many Devil’s Purse offerings are cheaper in stores than at brewery so I hit the brewery to sample and just rely on stores for cans.

Head to Moonshine right by Devil’s Purse for great selection (including Barnstable offerings).

From a native cape codder - imo go to Kappy's on 28 in Hyannis and grab some king sue or Lawson's and a few Epic stouts. Eat north of 6A if on the mid cape.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I should have added that I live in Boston so will be bringing some Trillium and other stuff I can get locally, so primarily interested in local Cape stuff. Bonus points for dog friendly spots!

Both Devil's Purse and Hog Island are dog friendly. And outside of beer check out Kent's point in Orleans - it's a big forested off-leash dog area right on the water. Very cool. Thompson's field in chatham is another off leash area though it's not on the water.

Naukabout in Mashpee makes solid NEIPAs and has a nice taproom.

Looks cool, thank you. Any suggestions on which four packs to pick up? Will be driving so my wife may do some sampling, but not that much

I really enjoyed Tides Voyage 28 and GOAT. Quitting time and Y’all Open, and Spruce are all solid.

    Enjoy!

Another vote for Naukabout. The beer is good and they have a decent size outdoor patio. I usually go there or Cape Cod Brewing if i’m going to a brewery down the cape. If you are in that area, I’d suggest going to Crisp in Osterville, best pizza down the Cape and usually they have a small but decent tap list,(last time I was there they had King Sue on Draft).
There is also a brewery in P-Town that is supposed to open soon.

Brewster Wine & Spirits is a tiny place on 6A but the selection is pretty solid. They’ve got stuff from Barnstable, Naukabout, and south shore places.

Honestly, Cape Cod Beer is a great spot. Just a fun place, and the beer is fine.

Just got back from Chatham; great week apart from the tornadoes. We stopped at Naukabout on the way down. Was really surprised that given all of the outdoor space it wasn't dog friendly. I assumed it was (since there was tons of outdoor space and it's a brewery) and only found out after I ordered that it wasn't, so it was sort of a bust. There were several other people who went straight to the upper part with their dogs and no one bothered them, perhaps our mistake was being in view? Anyways, good beer and grabbed some cans to go but FYI. Went to Devil's Purse during the power outage on Wednesday, always a fun little spot and quite dog friendly.

Thanks to @meefmoff for the suggestion to go to Kent's Point, that was great!

Meant to add that Mom and Pop's Burger in Chatham had an awesome beer program. Good selection at the Chatham Fish and Lobster on 28 as well (Fiddlehead IPA on draft, Supa Sumo in cans)

How were the burgers at Mom and Pop's? Though we don't eat out much when we're down there because we usually just can't resist going to Chatham Fish and Lobster and buying whatever looks good at the market to cook at home

That beer program and seated area is brand new there this year. Glad to hear they have good stuff on tap!

Burgers were great, but full disclosure I am boring as all hell and get my burger plain. My one criticism—and again this is just my boring self—is that they only have Sir Kingsinton's ketchup, which I think is gross. So I of course brought a small bottle of Heinz

A man who carries around a bottle of his own preferred ketchup brand is anything but boring.

Came to this thread to make sure Mom & Pop’s got a mention. Nicely curated draft list & the food is worth the Cape prices. The Naughty El Diablo burger haunts my dreams.
