Trillium's the best brewery in Boston proper for growler fills and bottles. No drinking on site. Cambridge Brewing is a great, great brewpub.
There is a new little brewery in Dennis called Devil's Purse. I have not tried any of their beers so I can't vouch for them, but I have heard some positive reviews from friends. Considering you'd be so close it's probably worth a stop even if just for tasting pours. http://www.devilspurse.com/
Just had a beer nerd tell me good things of this place, worth a stop for sure. I haven't been personally, but will this summer at some point.
Just a heads up, plan this venture accordingly. Boston traffic on Rt. 3 during rush hour is a nightmare, both in and out, weekdays.
I have not visited the brewery yet myself, but have had their beers and think they are pretty good, albeit not on the level of Trillium (very few breweries are). If their limited hours (Friday and Saturday afternoons) don't work for your schedule, they are on draft in several places. Check out the Red Nun ins Dennisport for the best tap selection I have seen in the area. A good place to watch a game, too, although the food is nothing special.
