Grabbed cans of Follow the Gull in Clifton yesterday. Have to say if it wasn't for this thread I probably would have grabbed something else but, glad I didn't! A delicious and drinkable beer even in 90 degree heat. Well done!

Spent a week in Cape May. Home now. Got enough Cape May beers to last me the week.

Sunset Liquors in Cape May had Follow the Gull in cans on Saturday, June 22nd. I know that was two weeks ago but maybe try there.

So I always thought FTG was a summer release, I was wrong. Was at the brewery and was talking to the bartender, he said it’s an April release into early May, so what’s around now is all there is. Cans are sold out but the good news is it’s still on tap at the brewery. So if you like it and see it at a package store, buy it because it’s running out.

I was in CM this past weekend and stopped by the Brewery on Saturday afternoon. It was packed and always love visiting there but I was dissappointed Crushin It cans were sold out fairly early in the afternoon. Not sure what they were thinking with a 3 case limit on such a limited beer but totally my fault for not checking their IG post before I headed over there.

Yeah 3 case limit does seem high. The norm seems to be a case limit or less if setting limits. But who the hell is buying 3 cases?

I can't imagine myself who would be buying 3 cases of anything but apparently people were as they told me at some point they lowered the limit to 1 case pp. It still sold out in 2.5 hours though.

Probably people buyting it for other friends etc. or even muling perhaps.

I don't know, Crushin It for me was too sweet, I'll take an Anniversary or Coastal Evac any day over it.

    Agree with @Kadonny

I would assume muling. I think I could go back and forth between Coastal Evacuation and Crushin' It and be content the rest of my life.

If you get back and like brett, try the Always Bretty, I really enjoyed that one.

    @brianhink

Not sure if true, but I heard that CMBC is doing a collab with Cape May Peanut Butter Company. Can you confirm?

I haven't heard of a collab with them, but that doesn't mean something isn't in the works - could be a marketing or tasting room thing. From a production/beer standpoint we're not working with them on anything at the moment, but they do share building space with our marketing/sales offices (one of four buildings we occupy on the airport grounds) so they could be working towards something. If I hear anything I'll let ya know!

It’s great to see better beer and more options coming out of Cape May. I used to consider Brigantine a beer wasteland - I guess I still do - but fresh Cape May on the local shelves is something to look forward to. Now if there was draft available at St George’s....I can dream.

Wow, just saw I missed this post.

Anyway, @brianhink I'm there all the time. It rains? We go to CMBC. We have friends down that have never been? We go to CMBC. No shower happy hour? CMBC. The one thing I missed that I regret is the annivesary maybe last year where the special mugs were released. I so wish I had gone and gotten a mug.

Gull is still on tap as of last weekend, so I've been getting my fills there, plus I love the IPA, Always Bretty, the Anny, Coastal and now Lager so there is no shortage of great beers to drink while there.

All of this talk of Follow The Gull made me grab a 4 pack I saw while at lunch in Bucks County...canned on 5/7 I believe but was refrigerated. Glad I pulled the trigger as it’s quite tasty and tasted fresh still, but at $16 for the 4 pack it seemed a little pricey

@Kadonny had stated in an earlier post that he paid around $12.99 for a 4 pack at the brewery. Sounds like a distributor issue.

I noticed a distributor in Harrisburg marking stuff up too since any other distributor those beers are much cheaper. Sucks because it makes it look like it's the brewery, but it's not.

Either way, you liked it and that's all that matters. Nothing like spending that amount of money on some shitty beer.

For those that really like the Crushin It, they release cans and tap again this Saturday......just a public service announcement.
