    Noooo, please god no.

Disclaimer: still waiting to try. But, I for one am encouraged by these confusing comments!
(Untappd check-ins seem even more confused, but encouraging as well)
Honestly what are people expecting? How many canned & distro Sour IPAs are you drinking?
Epic "Tart n Juicy" is prob widest-distro example: syrupy/malty Berliner, body but no hops.
Evil Twin's Nasty Trunks is more dry-hopped Berliner with lactose to smooth out.
If anyone references Hudson Valley, they're another animal altogether.

Corrosion, in earlier incarnations, introduced me to love of "Session IPA with kettle/Berliner tart" style.
I'm glad to read consistently it's light! I pretty much always want "Tart Session IPA" or "DH Berliner or Grisette," and I'd say this brand and format at this distro is unrivaled and totally welcomed on shelves.
As for comments like what we each want from a brand, what I'd really love is something more like Kettle-soured Always Ready (I sour NEIPA by blending cans/bottles often at home)—or if we're really getting trend crazy, Ebb Tide blended with Tower 23 or BA golden sour! (Hudson Valley style, or now "Brusicle"; add fruit puree for "Sour MIlkshake," e.g. Passionfruit or Raz. Brian & Jimmy are you still reading??) Were I in NJ I'd blend this in the taproom til the kegs kicked or til I got kicked out!
But I know Corrosion is not that beer. And I know packaged & distro'd it's not the origin-story legend of "Tower 23 blended with Coastal." Whether "hoppy sour" or "tart sIPA," I'm thrilled it's packaged and wish I could drink it year-round. For everyone wanting "more hops/body/ABV," maybe locals could ask for a one-off keg Dry-hopped...or a new hoppy sour entirely? (Return of THE SKEG?!)

TLDR: Sour Session FTW, Sour Milkshake plz :grimacing:

I grabbed a fresh sixer of Coastal last time I was down south- should've gotten more .

Your confused by people's own impressions of a beer you haven't yet tried yourself?
    Now I am confused!!!

The abv on Corrosion is 6.5%. This is hardly a session IPA.

And nobody said the beer was bad. Those that said it was a little light in mouthfeel were responding directly to @JValm asking for feedback on it after saying he was not 100% happy with the way it turned out himself.

Thanks for all the feedback, y’all! I’m glad to hear that even those who aren’t crazy into Corrosion still dig it even if they wish it was more this or that. I think if a brewery strives to make a beer that everyone will like you end up making Bud or some garbage.
My fridge is full of it right now, and I’m really digging it, it’s always been one of my favorites from our portfolio. But will we make some minor tweaks for the next release of it? Probably. But I’m always a big fan of continuous improvement.
    CHEERS!

Was able to procure a six pack of Devil's Reach and oh boy what a fantastic beer. Even cooler was learning that Cape May Brewing's beers will be available in Somerset County!

Wildwood this past weekend for daughter's Irish Dance Feis. Didn't make it to the Brewery, but I got me some CORROSION, COASTAL EVACUATION, and CAPE MAY IPA at Joe Canal's in Rio Grande on the way home.

I love Coastal Evacuation! Going to Cape May in July for a week as well as a wedding. Going to stock up on CMBC beers. Hoping to get a few people together to hit up the brewery.

Hoping to make it down sometime this summer for a beach weekend. BUT, if not, there's always the firemen's convention. Around the same time CITY TO SHORE comes out..... WIN WIN.

In case you stopped in today but are still in the area tomorrow, we have a really fun beer coming out on draft tomorrow called Harmonic Rhythm. It's a beer inspired by a Moscow Mule, so it has a nice strong ginger backbone balanced out nicely with lime, and goddamn I think this is a really tasty beer - I'm super happy with how it came out. It's 5%, sublte tartness thanks to lemon and lime juice, and just really refreshing and ridiculously easy drinking. If you are still in the area swing on back around tomorrow and check it out.

    Cheers!

Now this intrigues me. Last Cape May trip (2016), Moscow Mules were the drink of choice it seemed - besides beer of course. You're killing me, man. Think you'll can this?

Damn it @brianhink I was 4 days late (I have impeccable luck/timing). 2.75 hour drive one way sounds like some good quiet time for me. lol
