Capone's Black Friday (list is out)

Not going to be able to get there until Saturday...damn girlfriend's job for making her close on Black Friday. Last year, a lot of stuff hadn't kicked by Sunday, so I'll end up with at least pours of SOME good stuff

 

Might try to come out for this but no way am I getting there for 7:00 AM.

 

So this will be my first year going to Capone's on Black Friday. Do they usually get crowded right when they open? And do they serve breakfast?

 

yes. and yes. people actually line up every year because they're ******ed.

 

i presume these will all be 5oz pours that cost like 6 bucks, right?

 

I have to say I may not go. Since I have or had about 90% of those beers. It just not enough to entice me to go.

 

i'll go saturday if someone more local can let us know what's still on

 

I'll probably swing by in the early afternoon. Really want to try bolt cutter but I can't get there that early and I'm sure it won't last long.

 

I'll probably stop in whenever work let's me out. Jury is still out whether that will be noon, 3pm, or 5pm.

 

Wish I could make it, but I will be out of town. I'll probably stop in on Sunday or Monday and see what they have left over.

 

The additions to the list now have me much more excited to make an appearance. Lots of great stuff flowing!

 

I might stop by in the afternoon, but I'm probably just going to skip this altogether.

I swung by last year around 10am-ish to see what was up. Opened the door and got a big whiff of Stout. Place was packed and didn't feel like waiting around. Went to the bottle shop instead and picked up some stuff.

 

NEXT, waste of time IMO.

This has become my way of catching up with high school friends when they're home for the holidays. They could have different flavors of deer urine on tap and I'd still end up going - and admit it, people on the fence - you'll be there.
