Actually, the people at our store tried one from our first run and our second run, and there was a noticeable difference in sweetness. Not that it has to be dumped, but that beer changes dramatically, quickly. Now that is a palate wrecking hoppy lineup.
I was being facetious about the Hopslam but Matt tells me there will be a mystery keg that's even better!
Thanks John, thats what I thought but wasn't sure. I, unfortunately will not be able to attend. Looks like and incredible line-up! I've been wanting to taste Bitter Valentine, especially!
I know what you mean. I was toying with the idea of driving over after the Liquidation event, but that would be insane (and probably more than a bit dangerous), and so I've put that idea aside. It's a shame, as even without younger, there are a lot of great beers I'd like to try on that list.
So how was the event? I heard there were people in line around 6-630 and the line eventually went out the parking lot?
Look in the Younger thread here on the first page, there is a whole discussion about it over the last 3 pages or so. There is even a pic of the parking lot and the line.
Thanks for the tip on the other thread...not sure if I would have been happy waiting in line for some time and only getting a 4oz pour. I understand Matt's decision to allow more to try...but then I can understand those who stood in line for several hours and feel like they got screwed by the small pour.
If I had made the two hour trip for just Younger I might have been annoyed with the short pour, but the rest of the tap list was pretty stacked and it made the drive worthwhile.
