I have been trying to research online how to bottle and cap into champagne bottles, but can't find any definitive answers. I was hoping some of the more experienced guys here could help me out.

    1. American bottles take standard caps, and European bottles take 29mm caps?

    2. Does a standard bottle filling wand leave enough head space?

    3. I have the standard "red baron capper". Do I just need to turn the metal plates around, or do I need to get a different bell as well?

    Thanks so much.

    1, usually.
    2, yes.
    3, turn them around.
