Someone please answer this man, I'm stuck at work. Ironically, my wife who is in Tarrytown right now would never go and help my "waste of money" hobby.

Nahh, Westchester/Rockland is NYC suburbs. The Mid Hudson valley is like the good part of LA, South Central. Upstate starts north of Glens Falls

Went there just now and was able to get 2 bottles. I'm pretty sure there was another BA there that I should have known but I wasn't sure so I didn't say hi. If that's the case, I apologize :flushed:.

Seems like with Sandy messing up the neighborhoods as she has, most people have more important things to worry about than beer at the moment so bottles are trickling out slowly.

A friend was there at 2:30. He was told there were approximately 7 cases left.

Was thinking of driving up there today but like Jim said, I decided that I had more important things to take care of. Also not sure if I want to burn gasoline on two bottles when there is no gas to be found around me. Oh well...

if anyone can get me a full tank of gas, i will give you the second bottle of my allotment and you won't have to send me any beer or money...just the gas. if you can get my electricity turned on in my neighborhood in less than a week that would be a big help too.

hey jim, if you need help drinking them bottles, i still have bottles of the first batch of cherry and raspberry to compare!

I have the time and car but no gas :slight_frown: Bergen County is a total shit show, does anybody know if getting gas is less crazy in places like Nyack, Nanuet, and Elmsford or any spot in NY close to Jersey(my license plate is an even and can't fill up in NJ today).

A few of us did a side-by-side last night of last year's Barrel Select Cherry and the new Sour Cherry....these beers really couldn't be any different.

While the original batch was certainly nice (and even tasted a little better than it did at release), it doesn't even hold a candle to the Sour Cherry which is legitimately kriek-esque. In-your-face cherries. Perfect tartness. Looked beautiful too.

For me, this one probably ranks as one of the best Barrel Selects yet.

Thanks Alan, I was actually able to drive up today and get some bottles. Tasting room was completely empty at 1pm and they should have 50 bottles left. Good luck to anyone still trying to get bottles!

does anyone else find it a little silly for them to release this when a large portion of their following either:
    a) has no power
    b) has no gas / cant find any gas
    c) was evacuated from the area or sustained significant damage to their home and property
