Captain Lawrence Barrel Select - Gold?

    My buddy and I opened a bottle early yesterday evening.....

    Wasn't exactly a gusher, but there was a small cap of foam that pushed its way out as soon as we opened it. It pretty much calmed itself down as soon as we starting pouring, though. Carbonation remained in check thereafter.

    The aroma on this thing is off the hook. Has that incredible cheesy/funky quality that all great CL sours seem to have (you'll recognize it immediately). The taste was comparatively mellow, though. Had an almost Castleton-lite quality to it....really soft and delicate on the palate. Certainly not overwhelmingly sour.
