Any more details about this? Planning on heading up and never been to an event at Captain Lawrence before. Long lines for pours? Enough food there or eat before?

    I'm probably going to go.

Anyone know if you have to buy bottles up front and pay the service fees? Or can you just purchase there?

I can't guarantee that I can go, what's the probability of bottles remaining after the event?

According to Facebook you can buy the bottles at the event.

You can purchase bottles at the event. The prepay is just to offer people the chance to take care of it ahead of time.

They're going to do a public release that following Wednesday, but it will be extremely limited.

For the Rosso event, everyone hung out in the brewhouse. This should probably be the same setup. No long lines, and food is constantly being passed around. Definitely worth it.

I ended up not getting tix because I thought I might be out of town. Anyone know if they sell tickets for these sort of things last minute at the door?

Anybody know if they have any left for sale in the tap room?

I was there for the release and I know that if you didn't preorder, they either had limited or no bottles for you to buy that day due to a much higher than expected preorder demand. I'm not sure what they have if any right now.

Will the public release be only sold at the brewery, or will it get distributed?

i do not know. I guess it matters on how much they have. i live near the brewery so i usually just go there to pick up so it never dawned upon me to ask where else they will sell it.

So, has anybody gotten an update on when these bottles will be available at the brewery? I pre-ordered more the day of the release party (was only able to get 2 at the party), got an e-mail late November saying they'd be ready soon and haven't heard anything since. Just checking if I missed something.

They had an issue with carbonation with some of the bottles. Everything is back in barrels now. They were saying hopefully release in spring

I'm still so frustrated how this was handled. I would have ordered more had I known they would have limited supplies at the event. 40 ticket for nada...
