The Can-A-Bliss is damn good. More OH than Capt. Larry but it sold out by close yesterday.

 

i plan on picking up some of the powder dreams and will be there Sat.. its a great event

Where's it available other than the brewery? Beer Menus has it only at Good Beer in Manhattan, growlers only.

 

Cans are brewery only.

 

I got a 4-pack at WF Chelsea. It wasn't cheap, $18 after tax, but it was worth it. To be completely honest, if I had drank it blind I would put it up against any of the NYC breweries.

The one I had was 7.5%

 

Just tried Powder Dreams (Citra) and I must say I'm impressed. I give Captain Lawrence a lot of credit for helping to pioneer craft beer in the area but have felt for a while now that their beers are a solid step or two behind the best that the larger area around them has to offer. But this one gives me hope... the brewery has always been a lot of fun to visit, but if they can more consistently offer beers at this level it would really be something else.
