I wouldn't say it's better than ghandi, but it is a pretty good double IPA.

Saw 7/21 on the shelf in Georgetown Mass (Crosby's Marketplace) which was a surprise since it seems the big bottle shops are barely getting it. Had to snag it. 4 pack @ $11.99.

Fort Point Market posted on their twitter that they got restocked. I believe last time they only got a case and it was gone after the first day.

^ saw that and decided to give it one more chance.

Buttery as ever. What a waste of money.

I have bought cans in Shelton more than once. Not sure if that qualifies as Southern CT though..

I have been buying this stuff every time it comes in and have yet to get that butter flavor.... I let them sit for some time in my fridge as well to see of it developed. Nope. I can't understand how there can be so much variation in flavor/quality depending on where you buy it.

up until a few months ago, same.
only because I moved to where it isn't available. not because I started tasting butter.
I guess everyone's pallet is different. send all your unwanted CD to me!

I've purchased it all over the state (travel a lot for work) and had cans given to me from at least 8 batches so far, 3 had very clear diacetyl issues, not some subtle flavor.

It's a bummer Grey Sail doesn't have better quality control for what is a nice, slightly above average DIPA. Until they get this sorted it out it's just not worth chasing a 4pk of 12oz cans often priced the same as a world class 4pk of 16oz cans and more than a 6pk of super fresh Sea Hag.

I liked a lot at first, but my enjoyment tapered pretty quickly as it sat in the glass.

Had my first one tonight. 7/21 batch.
Excellent DIPA. For RI, it's better than foolproof's king of the yahd...and I think that's all I've had from RI! Been a while since I had ghandi not, so no comparisons there. But it's very good, highly drinkable, especially cold, and I'll snag it again.

Can't wait for Proclamation to expand, and hopefully The Stalk becomes their signature DIPA. So freaking good, but am limited to growlers/bottles up to 72 oz at the brewery. I need to buy cases of this goddammit!

This beer is one of my favorite go-to IPAs. That being said this batch (6/25) isn't looking too good, never seen this much sediment in previous batches. Anyone else seeing the same in this batch or more recent batches?
