I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere, but I was asked to do a capcha to get onto the site just now. Is this a new thing?
It's not new. My guess is that it was issued by Cloudflare, which detects unusual activity and may challenge users to ensure that they're not a bot. And the criteria used to trigger the challenge are many.
Cool thanks. I just wanted to make sure that this was something that I may expect, and not something that I should worry about. Today is the first time it has happened.
Keeps happening on the work computer (I've been off the clock a couple hours now). If it happens at home I'll let y'all know.
Might be something in your work's network settings (no cookies, etc). I have to use a VPN on my phone or mobile data at work because my employer uses a blacklist which completely blocks BA, as well as most every other alcohol or shopping site.
New or not I support capcha because who else doesn't want to make sure only humans are on this site and it helps to reduce spam and other security issues. I use them on on my websites.
