So the temperature in NY right now is between the low 40s and the upper 50s. The temperature in my apartment is usually room temperature. I don't have any other space to cellar my beer so should I just leave the beer in my car? I don't really know what else to do.

I'm in NY so send it to me, shipping won't cost much and I've got the perfect cellar for it.
Drink it now if no room to store it. Once temps rise , 80 degrees outside will be 100 in your trunk.

haha, i wouldn't leave it in there during the summer. I think I'm going to invest in a wine (beer) fridge.

yea a beer fridge would be a great investment, since you can use it for every time when the weather gets too hot. Just don't set the temperature too cold haha

How long are we talking here? I mean, you say you don't have any other space to store it...do you plan on using your car for your cellar or is this just for a day? I would think the temperature in a car fluctuates pretty wildly and then there's the whole driving around in it thing...just seems like a really bad idea to me. I would just keep it in the coolest part of the house...and not hold on to it too long.

I wouldn't keep it in the car. I would think it would be better kept at a consistent temp even if it's higher than the varied temps, plus if you drive the car that just seem it can get shaken up. And it won't be that long before the temp in your car is higher than the temp in your house. And I highly doubt your house is that much warmer than a bottle shop.

Any space in your fridge? Just toss the bottles in there until you get your wine fridge operational.

Did you really just ask if you should keep all your beer in your car?

Sure, car is good. I recommend storing your chips there, some decent salsa and glassware. Hopefully you have a nice stereo, too.

If you don't want to buy another fridge, just buy a good cooler (my soft sided one is great) and put frozen oj or milk jugs in it. Exchange them every few days.
