    Bells This One Goes to 11 Ale if it is ever brewed again. And another mention for Ballast Point Tongue Buckler. A 3rd suggestion would be Oskar Blues G'Knight

    Also Sierra Nevada Bigfoot has a lot of caramel malt to it. Not a red ale but has similar characteristics

    Lagunitas Lucky 13. Lots of caramel and a huge bargain at about $5 in the Chicagoland area.

    A Sam Adams Tasman Red with about 5 months on it had some awesome caramel flavors (technically an IPA but drinks like an imperial red).

    One of my favorite under the radar brews if Full Sail Amber... It fits your description perfectly...

    Not sure if this fits into your style category but My Bloody Valentine by Alesmith had a lot of caramel/toffee flavors.

    2nd/3rd Nosferatu. Great Lakes achieves amazing malt character in many of their beers.
