Given the temperature of the beer, determine the steady state PSIs needed to carbonate to the volumes of CO2 you want. Then set and forget for about 3 weeks. Choose a beer line length that will balance against the PSIs used. Or crank up the CO2 and shake the keg. I recommend the former. The latter often results in a follow-up post with "My Keg is overcarbonated. What should I do?"
