I have a raspberry wheat beer that seems to be finishing really nice. I am looking to force carbonate it via keg but do not have a keezer to do it in. I recognize that at colder temperatures, CO2 will dissolve much better, but I was wondering what your experience is carbonating at temperatures that range from 50-60 degrees? My intention is to bottle via keg, then chill the individual bottles for serving.

I recognize that bottling the traditional way may make more sense but I am interested in testing out the new "beer gun".

Thank you for all of your help and experience!

I think I read your post right.

Your gonna keg in a cold garage. Then beer gun the beer to bottles. I still have my doubts but if you can get your bottles and tubing way colder than your garage while bottling youl be okay. (That's impossible)

I only have experience using the beer gun from a nice cold fridge. I don't chill my bottles and it still works great but I do lose some carbonation but account for it.

Co2 comes out of solution faster at warmer temps.

Someone else will describe this better.

I understand what your saying, thanks for the response. It does feel as if I am pushing it a bit with that plan.

Full disclosure this is my second kegged beer. First one turned out great. Lagered in a keezer, served half the keg from the keezer, bottled the rest. All went wonderful. Bottles drank great. The reason that isn't an option right now is that I have since took my keg back from my in laws and am tinkering at home (3 hours from them btw).

I could possibly sneak the keg into the fridge for a night or two if it meant that I could bottle the beer. My wife may attempt to kill me though!

Again, thank you for the response!
