Carbonation Issues

    Not to hijack this thread: but if caps are potentially the issue the question is:

    What are considered the 'best caps' for bottling? And from where?

    I second/third the new capper. I've run into this issue with my last few batches. Open two bottles - One that's secure and one that might not be pushed down all the way... Thats what did it for me so i threw my capper out real fast

    I bought a 6er of Goose Island 312 and recapped (3) bottles with three different caps all manufactured by LD Carlson. I'm thinking I will give them about 10 days or so then I will try and re-open the bottles and see what happens. Anyone think I should wait longer to open?
