How much carbonation could I expect from a pale ale that I bottled on Saturday evening?

    I'm thirsty.

Not much yet generally speaking... assuming that you are bottle conditioning.

When I bottle conditioned it used to take 2 to 3 weeks for carbing and the beer didnt hit its prime until about 4 to 5 weeks in.

The worst part about brewing is the wait. I can't wait to start kegging.

Yep the waiting is always the worst, but in time you will find out patience is very much worth it... also you will eventually get a pipeline going and always have something to drink!
