The can description says Carton and Barrier went to Smuttlabs and made this brew. Does that mean it will have the same distro as Sit Down Son?

Is the name a dig at Sixpoint? The end of the description makes it seem like it.

I have no idea if the name is a dig or not, but the end description is borrowing from Wu-Tang (like Sixpoint did). There's at least two Wu-Tang references on the can (not including the name of the beer). CREAM is an acronym for Cash Rules Everything Around Me and both Sixpoint and Carton are playing off what the 'C' stands for.

    Also:
    • The brewery logos are in the shape of the Wu logo
    • The Plane's banner says "Dolla Dolla bill yall"
    • Bring the Ruckus is another reference to a WuTang song.
    Loving the can! lol

If this is distributed like Sit Down Son i'll be most pleased.

I know the Wu Tang origin. I'm just wondering about the names being the same and both using the same expression and being released back to back.

Of course, seeing that Carton is one of my favorite breweries, I'll happily be drinking it either way.

Isn't this kind of alike a playful dig at Sixpoint since they just put out C.R.E.A.M. which is basically a riff on Regular Coffee? In the same way they went after Stillwater for making Yacht?

I think the most important question is when and where can I get some of this

the joke for ours was putting money hops on boat beer as cash rules everything around me. the beer was planned years ago and only at smut labs could both of our little breweries find a way to brew together (you may or may not remember sav'r 4 later our last colab). the label design and approval takes months for something like this. i think the simple truth is coincidentally around the time i was thinking about "money ruling," @Sixpoint was thinking about cream as a beer, and both of us like Wu.
sorry it couldn't be more exciting guys

Being a fan of Wu - any chance of you releasing a beer called 'Protect Ya Neckbeard'. I'm thinking it could be inspired by whatever Holle is only drinking at the time...

The last beer in the "need a bigger boat" series was SS yirgacheffe, one of my favorite beers of all time. I have high expectations for this beer...it sounds amazing. Then again I am a full blown Carton fan boy and money is one of my favorite NY ipa's.
