really depends which size fermenter it went in in the schedule. we try to do these as big as possible so they go as far as possible, but sometimes there is a boat and a hook and a dub in the bigger guys so these happen smaller

 

this sounds interesting.... Carton has been busy lately!

- is Blind Tiger the label art bar? I think that's where I had it last time

- if a bottle shop in Manhattan/ BK got cans of Regular Coffee, can I make the assumption that they'll get some?

its ok if you dont wanna answer the latter but I gotta shoot my shot

 

1 yep, we made it for our 5th anniversary party at Tiger and did it again now so a proper east coast IPA would show up in the sea of west coast, new england,, sour, milkshake, and so on at at BA IPA fest NYC. (all the out of state dubviants now are city or state named rather than specific zips. when distributors are involved broader seems to be better as far as their communications go.)

Red Rye Returning is returning. Nice!

 

One of my favorite OG Carton beers. Its been too long!

 

Really weird - I just read the IG comments from the Red Rye Returning announcement. An over abundance of douche-y sarcastic “OMG let’s cancel our VT trips and get in line to max out for this beer” posts. I don’t get it.

 

Yeah, I’ll never really get the whole thought process of “well if you can get it at a liquor store, it can’t be all that great anyway and certainly not worth going to the brewery for it”. It’s pretty demented.

 

Has anyone seen "They Said Sit Down, We Stood Up"
in the wild yet?

 

There was a guy in the Hudson Valley Brewing boards complaining that a recent release he got tasted like "off the shelf stuff". It had me LOL for awhile. I'd gladly grab some more We Stood Up from a store if I only knew where. I'm kicking myself for only getting 2 packs. As I happen upon Carton once every couple of weeks I thought it would be O.K., but I don't think it lasted more than 10 days there.

 

honestly kind of embarrassed for those folks. RRR is a sick beer and that hazy bomb you waited in line for tastes just like all the other ones lmao

 

Wilco Pennsauken just tapped a keg of the Lawsons collab so I imagine if they got cans they would be there now.

 

I saved a four pack of monkey chased the weasel for tailgating and, along with my four pack of boat it did not disappoint. It was about eighty degrees out in the parking lot today and monkey was the absolutely perfect choice. Tart, refreshing, but low ABV. Then chased a couple of those with a boat beer or two and it was amazing. One of the best tailgating experiences of my life. Absolutely love how much flavor carton gets out of two beers that are less than 5% ABV.

if they got it last year i think it is safe to assume they will again, with some small exceptions

 

Just moved up to Morristown, so I am trying to get the law of the land.

Am I good to assume Gary's up here gets most releases?
