Carton Brewing (2019)

I’m looking forward to that one as well. I also saw Oxbow up on Maine released a wet hopped saison called Harvest in cans. I wish Carton or one of the other NJ breweries would put out something like that.

 

I’m 99.9% sure I scored some Lemondrop harvest last year at Roger Wilco. Carton typically drops there on Tuesday afternoon(s) (love that song). I wouldn’t be surprised if Canal’s Marlton and Marty’s Liquors Mt. Laurel got some too.

yeah I got last year's Harvest retail as well... while I dug it, it was super vegetal and stinky on the nose, but good once you got past that... Will be interested to try this year's. I just had a wet hop Idaho 7 hoppy saison from Twin Elephant (also sourced from Crosby Hop Farms) and it was super tasty (but also in a dirty funky dank way)

 

@jonphisher Carton Harvest arrived today at Roger Wilco Pennsauken (still on the handcart in the walk-in), along with fresh batches of Boat, 0dub and Turn Up The Hook - Strata

Also, a little off subject but still sorta relevant because we're discussing harvest ales and South Jersey-- keep an eye out for Tonewood Hillside Airstrip (cascade wet hopped IPA) and Midnight Landing (amarillo wet hopped). Pretty sure they're draft only but I had Hillside and it was really delicious. They also dropped some fresh Rift cans recently so keep an eye out while you're hunting.

Drinking the 2019 Harvest while grilling up some venison. Digging it for sure. I do enjoy the wet hopped ales this time of year.

Epitome has and always will be on black friday (so not too far off I guess), I don't think there has ever been an exceptions since cans started. Could be wrong but...

 

as far as i know you are correct, not just at the brewery but they send to distro to release on blk friday also

 

Drinking my first Epitome of the season right now. So glad they release this one every fall. One of the few remaining black IPAs (or black ales) and always one of my favorites. Plus bonus points for being able to pick it up at Wegmans while doing some grocery shopping.

 

I’m kind of bummed the two places super close that started to stock a ton of carton stopped doing so now. Sucks, can’t get any now without driving like 15-20, when it used to be 5.

 

Did you end up hitting up Kane today?

Well, they’re releasing stuff every weekend so chances are you’ll hit a good one.

 

Anyone have any info on EGOIPA? I got it last year at the end of November based on my review but I haven't seen it or any posts about it yet this year.

 

Andrés is really tasty. I’m loving the Highlander Weiss beers they’ve been putting out; hope we see a EWR-MIA again this year or another new Weiss

 

IPGASIM bottles, can we buy just 1 or are we forced to buy 3 like the others.
