Carton Brewing (2019)

Yeah, this always struck me with both regular and irregular coffee. The sweetness covers up the ABV content really well. I drank a can from last year's release the other day, and the coffee flavor and sweetness was a lot more muted. It tasted a lot boozier than I remember. I definitely would drink these sooner rather than later if I manage to get more cans this year.

Irregular still available in good quantities? Really hoping it’s around for tomorrow.

 

Was there around 4:20 and it seemed to be going strong. Also grabbed a 4 of EWR-MIA and a 4 of the Chinook Dubviant. I’m a sucker for anything pine or spruce. Really interested to try EWR-MIA.

 

Definitely grabbing a 4 of that Chinook Dub!

Sitting here thinking the same thing. I loved it before but I find myself making that “ahhh” face after every sip like on a commercial. This is possibly my favorite beer. Out of everything everywhere. Very happy I got my hands on some this year.

 

It is amazing. I might have to go down and get some even though I don’t want the other one.

 

@augiecarton , I had a question and was wondering if you could answer. You guys recently posted a video about a Carton on the Road project. Happened across some of the This Beer Rhymes with Orange while I was in CT the other day. Know this was done at Two Roads. Was just wondering if all of these future Carton On the Road projects would only be available in the areas where they were brewed, or if theyd also make their way to the taproom? Thanks!

i imagine they will spread around, i love that beer, wish i brought more of it home. we have a new CT distributor i really enjoy dealing with and 2 roads is in CT so it was easy to focus this release on that relationship. . but in reality 2 roads is closer to carton than cape may is, so it seems silly to lock in by the borders of the little states around here. for now i kind of loosely think our beers won't travel much more than 3 or so hours by van at any one time is a guideline i'd like.

Coffee Variants (2 & 2 of Pavlova & Churro) at Petrock's in Hillsborough and Bottle Republic in Somerset.

 

Variants (2x2) just hit Shoprite Wines in Westfield.

 

Gonna need to check out some South Jersey locations

 

I'd be interested to know what South jersey locations (if any) get the variants too. Does anyone know what places in SNJ got Nitro Regular coffee?
