Most of the 3 bottles boxes are labeled O.W.C. i believe it stands for Old Wood Carton and yes Shipwreck did hang around for a long time 3 years ago but the last 2 years were gone fast plus the price per oz of the new bottles is higher.

shipwreck hung around bc it was a 32oz growler wasn't it? Now it's in normal bottles. I get the "try, share, save" and generally I like to share bigger/rare(r) beers with beer friends; but at the same time given the chance I rather just buy the 1 bottle of a wild/sour beer. Also it's one thing to shell out for a $18-22 4pk every so often, it's a whole nother thing to shell out $55+ for 3 bottles. Like sure volume is larger, but it's easier for me to get through/store a 4pk than store 3x 750ml bottles.

Kane is 100% doing 2/4 or 3/6 bottles for easier selling on EB. It's just way more efficient to have a stack of bags with 3 bottles and a stack with 6 bottles and hand them out. Even with EB - people will be arriving early to pick up their bottles and there will be a line, so handing out 2 types of bags is way easier/quicker than 1 bottle here, 5 there, 3 for them, 6 for that guy 2 for her.

Is there any chance regular coffee gets distributed to NYC? I love this beer but taking a 4-hr round trip from LI to Carton is just not feasible this weekend.

I haven't even seen it in NJ yet. Place near me in Middlesex County said probably Tuesday

I stand corrected but the description still doesn't appeal to me. That said, I'll give it a taste.

Same here for my part of Union County @MacMalt next Wednesday as I was told by the local spot, if you’re planning to stop in and grab some.

About 4 or 5 cases of Regular Coffee spotted @ Roger Wilco - Pennsauken. I think I'm gonna skip this year, I still have some cans from last year (somehow) plus a couple of the BA variants. Maybe I'll snag a single or two. Unsurprisingly no Waffle pastry cream ale, I'd doubt it makes it down here unless there is a surplus in a couple weeks

Awww, but fresh and aged is a great way to experience RC! So nice to taste how it changes.

You definitely don't need to convince me of that! I've been buying it every year for 5 years now (maybe longer?) and I never skip the irregulars. I guess I just have a ton of high abv beer in the fridge right now and I don't need more at the moment.

Ah, hell I'll probably change my mind by this weekend, that freshly roasted coffee note it has when it's fresh is really special.

Did you happen to see any unjunct as well?

No Unjunct sightings but I didn't go digging....I think there may have been a small drop a few weeks ago? I don't remember exactly...I'd check out Traino's in Mt. Laurel, Joe Canal's in Marlton or ShopRite in Cherry Hill, they all usually have a really good Carton selection

May not help you where you’re located but I got some at Wegmans in Somerset County a couple weeks ago.

trainos no longer carries carton or at least hasn’t in a few months now. Same as joe canals, just old stock and the empty space around the carton stuff. Sucks now I’m back to Wilco being the closest reliable carton place.

What about Wegmans (mount Laurel or Cherry Hill). I don't buy much carton but I swear I've seen some there regularly with the other locals.

Damn, that sucks. Have you tried ShopRite yet? He has a bunch of old stock but also still gets new releases (I got Epitome there as we’ll as Light & Sweet). It’s kinda my secret spot.

Wait does that apply to Joe canals in Lawrenceville as well? I haven't seen new releases there in a while either though haven't been in a few weeks and am not super regular so can't really tell. Maybe someone else on here can confirm. But now you mention it, last week I saw old Carton on shelves at a different store that used to get all their releases too. No new stuff and they just put out a host of old inventory including a 4 pack of Monkey chased the Weasel and once of the other releases from last summer as well, canned forever ago. Sounds like the same thing you saw at Joe Canals. Carton used to monitor and stop that. I'm in Middlesex County has anyone seen Epitome or Coffee or new releases around Mercer/Middlesex? Several places got a ton of volume of the cans that I really don't care for over the past 4 or 5 months, which just sat there, and they haven't got much else since. What is going on?

Just remembered it was SS 2019 that was just put back out on the shelves. Looked to me like they were clearing inventory.

thanks for the heads up on all these, we have been moving sales regions for the team around trying to get better coverage as more and more places get it, seems we we need to remind the newer folks of some of the classic places.
@jonphisher as far as canals go they like the drops to be big and every other month so those shelves to get awfully thin toward the end of that phase, but they are due another soon

@augiecarton any plans for EGOIPA soon? I think last year it came out around mid November but I haven't seen or heard anything about it this year. Thanks.
