i can't go into all of the weirdness in this thread case by case, there is a lot of miss-assuming even with the best of intentions people often come up with different conclusions that n i, and often completely misunderstand my intentions after i explain them to the best of my ability
but to this i will simply say, and hope it helps
if you came to the tasting room and did a card of all Chekhov's Gun ( i would hope the tender flagged the average drinker around the 3rd or 4th but i leave those judgments to them) you'd have ended up with 592 mil for $10 rather than 500x3 for $59. we are at our base about the conversation we are happy to have that conversation with you in the room or send you home with enough to inform the conversation in the future. but if you check that math i am of the opinion it is true to our general commitment to "the most customer friendly brewery in terms of pricing and availability.
these OWC beers aren't about profit they are about ideas and we organize them to that intention

if you are one of the people that found the 2012 level of bitterness too much on this project i bet you will very much enjoy that one now

there is a significant difference between ipgasm and the highlanders in many ways, i won't go into it all here (i have made a video and write up for each if you care to follow up) but in a nutshell Ipgasm has a koji pre-ferment-ferment of the grains, a lactic ferment of the fruit and a sac ferment of the wort, it will change and evolve for years which is benefited by the air gap in a bottle: on the other hand the highlanders are bulletproof/stable flavor, aroma beers under 4% just meant to make you stop being thirsty in a savignon blanc/pinot grigio manner, for our drinking partners that prefer a zip when they imbibe. the level to which monkey and all the rest stay what they are for multiple years is one of my proudest achievements.
i am happy if you disagree but one is a bottle beer and the others are can beers based all the thinking i have done on the subject

not sure why, knowing me, you would ever call "BS" but you do you

BS was probably too strong just seemed like pretext to move more volume to me when could have been done in 2 bottle sets

In any event I really loved the beer keep 'em coming.

I thought we only get stuff that's brewed at Two Roads in the City.

Why? Boat kegs have been in the city for 8 years and every can that gets to nj distro which isn't boat or dub gets there to some extent. reg coffee was there last year as was sundae and lagom is now.

Does anyone know where to find boat in marlton? Is Wilco the closest place? Wasted 45 minutes driving around to places that used to carry carton only to find they don’t anymore. Neither of the trainos carry anything anymore, joe canals marlton nothing anymore except a single four pack of Mia-ewr. So bizarre it used to be so easy.

That is weird. I still see Carton everywhere in Somerset county.

I've seen it in Martin's in Mount Laurel by the
Wegmans not to mention in the Wegmans, so call both and check but I'm fairly confident (caveat, I'm more a Sneakbox person than a boat person, so be forewarned it's a random buy for me not regular).

funny you say that @stairway2heavn i almost got sneakbox instead but I need my boat. If I can’t find it I’ll go down the road and get sneakbox tomorrow.

@Mrstiffington yea I agree the one store just said it wasn’t selling that great so they stopped ordering. Didn’t ask the other two why.

I'll chime in to also note I have not seen Boat in a bit - while not on the hunt for it, so potentially I just missed it, but I usually check what cartons are on hand anytime I go in BK... Is less made in winter? wouldn't think so...

you know we desperately try to keep boat constantly available in the places that get it, but for some reason there was a crush of boat at the holidays we didn't see coming. we also ran out at the brewery which we have managed largely to avoid for a while now. the next round will be canned this week and we will restock everyone. sorry

    damn, that's impressive.

Gonna need a repeat of last weekend's weather to go along with some fresh boat.

yus yus, nice change, usually january boats are game watching boats or after work-out boats, nice to have that "umm its boat weather feeling" while thinking about the rest of ski season

All the "Boat" talk had me wanting some and saw it recently at Bottle King, East Windsor, grabbed a 4-pk and out of curiosity checked the date code = 08-19-19.

    "Whoa,"
I thought as I put it back in the cooler, "gotta be able to find fresher Boat than nearly 5 months old...". (And I did, some December canning just up the highway at Cranbury BuyRite).

Since you guys self-distribute and, I assume, check the codes on the store's current inventory, when do you normally pull the beers?
