Carton Brewing (April 2016)

So this was fun...

 

Drank A Warrior O'dub last night at 7 days young. Super hoppy, added a nice citrus, herbal and dank layer. Maybe one of the hoppiest beers I've drank, ever. @augiecarton your a dangerous man!

 

I picked up some of the Warrior Odub too and couldn't believe how hoppy it is and still insanely drinkable. I'm very happy I made the trip!

 

Well, I didn't go yesterday because I was too busy taking pictures of BOAT by the Shrewsbury River, but I'll make it a point to go today, or no later than tomorrow to pick up Warrior and then go take more pictures of that.

 

So 07-Warrior cans and Cosmonaut cans are all gone.
Hope we get a plethora of new cans next week.

 

I would think something new will be out with boat and Sds the only cans available. Warrior went pretty fast and the same for cosmonaut. Hopefully mosaic dub is coming soon. Really enjoyed that.

 

Would love a canning of IDIPA or SuperegoIPA next.

 

Ah yes I forgot about IDIPA. Would love to see that available again.

I wish i never moved out of Leonardo. I dont see much Carton. Best brewery in NJ. Is Digger available at the brewery? Or was that just a one off years ago?

I'm glad I picked up Warrior yesterday. Didn't realize Cosmo and Warrior were that close to gone even though I was literally in front of the cases taking pictures. As of right now, looks like they have some Boat and SDS left. I had been told they can almost bi-weekly, so I'm sure a fresh batch is due within the next 5 days or so. But just a guess at this point, Augie could come here tomorrow and tell me that I am absolutely wrong.

Digger was end of summer last year (~Aug I think). Shrewsbury Wine and Liquors had it on for fills relatively recently, not sure if it's still around. It was nice though, hope it or something similar makes a comeback.


Also, I wouldn't necessarily count on new cans this week. seems like it's not a hard date every 2 weeks . . . more like every 2 or 3. That said, I hope you all are right!

 

I did hear someone ask on Saturday that was next to me and the response was "almost bi-weekly"... I just make sure to look them up on Wednesday on Facebook. And then Thursday. And then Friday. And then Saturday. And then Sunday. This is a healthy hobby.

 

Can u get kegs only from the brewery or could u get it from a place that carton distributs too?
