Carton Brewing (April 2016)

As a long time lurker formerly from Monmouth County, I feel obligated to break my silence to state that anything north of the Driscoll is North Jersey, and everything south of 195 is South Jersey. Central Jersey is the stretch from Driscoll to 195.

 

Everything North of Union toll plaza is North Jersey or New Jersey proper. Everything South of the Union toll plaza is South Jersey. If some of you South Jersey guys want to separate yourselves from places like Vineland, Gloucester, etc by saying you are from Central Jersey I am ok with that.

 

Thank you! Although, I think Brick/Toms River border is the South Jersey cutoff!

I was on dad duty too. Brought my 2 kids. Carton makes it painless with the side room and table to grab and go. Was in and out under one minute.

 

Guys I'm from Linden and no one here thinks we're North Jersey.

AFAIK only the town that the bar each variant is made for will get some. I.E. Jersey City got Warrior (because of Barcade). Not sure what liquor stores each is distro'd to, would be nice to know when the cans drop. Maybe some of the employees know, doesn't hurt to ask

 

Knew a guy in college who used to (jokingly, I hope) say anything south of 80 was South Jersey. Always made me laugh.

I'm with the Driscoll straight across to Flemington as the northern boundary and 195 as the southern boundary to Central NJ. More or less what Augie and a couple others said. Makes sense.

On a beer related note I think I've already gained a couple pounds with all the All Orange, IDIPA, And Sorachi Dub I have in the fridge. Wife came home on Sunday, opened the fridge, looked at the top shelf and said "damn that's orange."
What a time to be alive.

 

Who will be at the Cloverleaf today? Besides @augiecarton of course. . .

I'll be coming by after work, hoping there is some Regular Coffee left for a poor soul with just one can left.

 

I guess you didnt go to the morning bell release? lasted the whole first day....

 

Might give it whirl next time. My daughter is under two and can be a real tornado, but dealing with that is probably worth new Carton beers.

 

Soooo hows the Cloverleaf? Is it a madhouse? I should have taken off work..

 

Heading there in a little bit.. hoping it's not too bad... I wouldn't be surprised if the coffees kicked before 2, but there's so many other good beers on tap that I'm not too concerned (looking at you Cosmonaut).

I'm most excited to try Grape Swish as I missed the chance to try it earlier this year and haven't had any of the other variants

 

Last I checked, B2 Bistro had Carton Cosmonaut on tap.
Ordered a Kane Harrow and the Cosmonaut together. Had the Harrow with dinner and let the Cosmo warm up for dessert.

 

I know I will need to check FB tomorrow before the session, but just wondering if cans of A.O.E sold out on Sunday? @augiecarton

ss cream is coming out soon, I think, thieves you know what I'm talking about. On barrier "I have a beer coming out with them next week". Sorry if this was already mentioned had way too many unread posts to check.
