It all was rather gentlemanly in the end. I didn't see anyone running as soon as the door opened, or pushing or shoving. Maybe some speed walking, lol..

I just tend to be of the opinion that a quiet line is no worse than 50 people scattered throughout the neighborhood in groups of 4-6. It's no less dicey looking. More so in my humble opinion.

But it is what it is, got to respect the brewery's wishes. Their butt on the line with the town and all.

oh then let me clearly state our wishes: come when we are open and enjoy yourself. no reason to come early. we do our best and pretty successfully to manage limits so there is no advantage to showing up ahead of time. if you came yesterday at noon or 5:15 you got the same amount of beer. it is beer and it is new jersey we want to be doing our thing with our community for a long time which we think encouraging FOMO in the short term discourages. we add working bodies and spread news to keep releases nice and easy. our hope is you get to try each of our beers and love or hate them there is a dialogue to be had on our experiments. part of all of this is being in the dead center of our home town, and part of that is doing our best to be as much a respectful member of that community as we hope to be in the craft community.

Well said! There have definitely been all hands on deck (maybe even some new faces) the past few releases. And Jake and Tim were busting their butts Sunday and yesterday!

per @augiecarton I believe Boat has like 7 or 8 hop varietals in there. I could be wrong. But he's said it's "hopped like a double IPA."

    Augie,

Please pick one of these O-Dub variants to release year round. Hats off to you. Every single variant I've had from Nelson to Warrior to Sorachi to IDIPA have been absolutely outstanding. I love O-Dub as much as anybody but it's amazing how unique each of these beers are. Thank you so much and please consider keeping some on on some sort of regular basis.

Actually I would vote (if I had a vote) that the variants rotated each month. This way each variant would show up 3 times a year. With XX and Boat being constants.

Yea that's kind of what I meant. Not that one variant stayed all year but that all the variants were brewed and rotated on a regular basis. I honestly see no need for the Other Half and Tired Hands shit shows when we have such great beer and great variety in our area

Yes, of all of them 07750 is a clear winner, but all of them are really really good

07871 is definitely the best of the group for me. Hopefully soon.

07750 is best tasting but the sorachi is so damn drinkable. Hats off to carton. These beers don't get the recognition they deserve.

thanks... the dubviants are fun when we ca make them we do. IDIPA has very little in common with dubs. let one warm up a little more look at what the yeast is doing with those hops, and that the hopping is more aromatic and less palette focused. that is if it works of course.

bitter with nugget, move through mostly all the C's minus chinook in boil and flame out, but stay cascade heavy. dry hop moves heavy citra amarillo with a scoch of galaxy. about 4 pounds per barrel all in

Awesome. Yea I just lumped IDIPA into all these awesome IPAs that you've been releasing but it is clearly very very different. Super dank and a beer that goes down very easily. All these are so perfect for spring/summertime. Thank you for being creative and releasing these

I was wondering if I was going insane yesterday. I've killed the Sorachi quicker than any of the other variants. So far, it's my favorite.
