Enjoy it! Shaping up to be a great tap list. Fall and winter at Carton are great (Epitome, Coffee, etc) but I just love the beers they have come summertime. Wit Whale, HopPun and a sour or two (or three). Yes please.

 

Galaxy Dub cans for sale!

 

Anyone from up north going down this weekend? I won't be able to make it down there and was wondering if anyone could do me a favor.

Mosaic lasted a week and that is the ****tiest hop around. I would be surprised if there isn't a whole pallet left on Saturday. Man, it feels nice to be able to say that.

 

I might swing by and grab a 4 pack, mostly for the lady. She favors the Galaxy hop tremendously. I like the ****ty hops more.

 

Galaxy is my favorite variant. Might be driving up the hype but whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Galaxy has grown on me. Some time ago I thought beers hopped with mostly galaxy were somewhat "dry" for me but it's because most of my induction into beer was by someone who favored the Mosaic and Citra super juiciness. Now I'm broadening my horizons and see why the lady favors Galaxy a lot.

 

That's actually why I like it. I think it retains the juicy qualities (more pineapply) but keeps a great dry finish. I don't like a "long" finish on my IPAs - it makes them too heady and boozey IMO. I had Galaxy Head High once and thought I'd died and went to heaven.

 

That's exactly why I am coming around now to it. Trying to expand my flavor profile. Can't go wrong with an O'Dub variant anyway.

 

I should be there either late saturday (after 6) or on sunday, hopefully they'll have some left. I only need 1 or 2 4pks. Don't wanna piss off the wife since I have "too much beer in fridge" lol

 

I'm hoping it lasts until Sunday, I'm gonna swing by and hope for the best. Anyone know the price on those Ricky growlers?

Does carton sell cans just in the tasting room or is there like a walk in cooler you go to? Only really got cans via retail before.

 

When you walk in go to the left. They do can sales downstairs, tasting room upstairs.

 

I doubt this happens this weekend since they have a bunch of different cans, but if by any chance you see NO cans downstairs, they probably have whatever is left upstairs.

It's rare but happened last weekend with BOAT and Ron's.
