just for fun i went back to the first 5 written reviews for boat on ba:
    "Pours a hazy sunshine yellow with a Snow-white head" Oct 24, 2011
"My biggest issue with beer was the cloudiness," Oct 29, 2011
"Appearance: Cloudy and orange a couple fingers of head." Nov 01, 2011
Cloudy pale yellow witbier-eque body with lots of sticky lacing and a nice soapy white head." Nov 07, 2011
"Golden hazy yellow body" Nov 17, 2011

Interesting - either way as a fan of the haziness (I just think it looks cool / different than most beers) I dig it. Also to anyone who has had Warrior, the flavor in mine definitely seems to have changed a bit since my first (last night vs. 1 day after canning). Maybe just different circumstances, but I appreciated it more.

How is the Warrior dry hopped O'dub? Was thinking of swinging by on Thursday for some.

cool i look forward to reading that when you write your boat review.
on the dubviant: i love them all for what they do, you can obviously see my thoughts on each on the can sides but i think warrior is my favorite. it just does more of what dub already does. some of the other variants push an aspect or side of the hop bill in dub while others add a whole new wrinkle like the sorachi or nelson do. but warrior seems to push up the general dankness without killing the pines or trop fruits, or citrus. if anything it adds a light scallion touch to the dank but not too much like a summit or 2015 harvest cascade would have. its the most dub of the dubviants

Haha, subtle. I'll go write a Boat review now. If any beer deserves it...

    EDIT: done

It is great - bright punchy aggressive hop flavor. I had a 3/24 Warrior next to a 3/10 dub and clearly preferred the Warrior (dub is one of my favorite IPAs, too). Not sure how much freshness plays a part but there was a clear difference between the two.

How would you define dankness? I tend to think of it as a greenness, kind of earthy and weed-y, sharp, maybe a little onioney. It's the spectrum of flavor I tend to see the least in IPAs (most favor heavy citrus) and as such I seek out the dankness

when i say "dank" i mean "smells like weed." That use to mean some combination of simcoe, citra, cascade, and/or amarillo but that's what weed used to smell like. funny enough as the modern new world hop cultivars push new aromatic boundaries, places like colorado do as well with pot. so now i still mean "smells like weed" but now its things like pineapple express and galaxy. not all hoppy beers smell dank, but so many have that underlying resinous stank on em that i find it a general enough word to guide with other descriptors. so el dorado combined with some amarillo is "lightly dank, cherry life savers" in a way Durban Poison might.

edit: just read your words on boat, that is very nice thank you

    Yes you do

It is incredible. Don't miss this one.
It is bitter and rindy and resiny with a hint of pepper.
