Guys the Wit Whale is back!!!!! I fucking love that beer. If you are not familiar . . . it's a Sorachi (+Summer) hopped wit and it is absolutely perfect for the summer. I haven't seen a label floating around, but I'd for sure by a case of it for the summah. Best served at Moby's with crab cakes, IMO.

 

Yeah, I saw it on tap last night. I'm not a fan of wits, but I actually like the Wit Whale.

To those who were there last night, they look like they'll have enough Mosaic to last to Saturday open?

 

I think so. If the limit changes to 1 4-pack per person, then you're gambling.

 

I can take a look this afternoon, I need a fill of the Whale.

 

How often is HopPun caned?

 

It's only been canned once, and it was at the end of it's run, end of the summer, last year.

 

I really don't know their reasoning for canning one thing and not another but I would love some cans of BDG

 

Cans of Mosaic are apparently at the Liquid Factory in Sparta.

 

Same, but for now, I guess I'll do with growlers. But there are some BYOB's that I'd love to take just one can of it.

 

Saw that and then called up my usual spots, but no one else seems to have anything.

 

Is S.S. Cream still floating around in NJ distro? My local Canals made it seem like they only got a small amount when it first was released. Haven't been back to inquire about it since. I figured this would get a decent amount made coming out of Smutt.

 

I've seen it all over Monmouth County, and there is a lot of it in NY city.

 

Check Beermenus. I see Buy Rite Fairview and Garys of Wayne. Also, as jkearns mentioned, it is allllllll over NYC (as was Sit Down Son).

 

Gary's in Wayne is out. Was there yesterday. The guy said the inventory wasn't up to date. All they had was a single can of SDS

 

Stopped by Canals Lawrenceville and all they had was SDS and SS Cream. Was allowed a full 4 pack this time instead of just 2 cans. Also had Boat on the growler station.

 

Had an SS Cream tonight for the 1st time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good job!!

 

Seems like plenty of Mosaic left.

 

Anyone else notice that each variant is progressively better than the one before?
