Last time I was in Jersey for work, my hotel's bar randomly had Boat Beer and 077XX on draft and I fell in love (HARD). I'm heading back to Jersey on Wednesday, but staying in Newark this time. Is there anywhere close that sells cans? I've seen the "Find our beer" page, but I have no idea which of those towns is anywhere close to Newark without Google-mapping each individual one, so members of BA, I ask you...are any of them close to Newark? I think my hotel offers a shuttle van up to 5 miles away but I'm definitely not opposed to taking the PATH somewhere if the bottle shop is walking distance for wherever I go. Thanks in advance!

Don't live that far north, but I would think it shouldn't be a problem to find if you go into Jersey City or Hoboken.

I work just outside of Newark and can't think of anything in town. Your best bet would be to take the Path to Pavonia Newport in Jersey City and walk to Jersey City Super Buyrite. They dont always have it but if theres a spot to check its there. If its there theyll have cans in the fridges. On drop off days they don't always have it right on the shelf but just ask and theyll get it for you. I have only seen cans of Boat but havent searched for 077XX. If you decide to go there stop in at Barcade (the Grove St Path station will put you a few blocks away)they have Carton and Kane on tap pretty frequently and they update the website daily so you can always check what they have. Sorry for any grammar typing this out on my phone.

I think I saw boat at Dinosaur BBQ. I know they had Overhead - Kane.
