I've definitely got a growler of a Brewers board in bayville spirits and I swear I seen a Brewers board cans in forked river.

I don't need an excuse to go to the brewery but if I gotta go to monmouth county for this town, might as well go to Atlantic highlands.

kegs of everything go out to the growler stations. before we were canning those shops were our most important contact in the community. we can't leave them behind now. if you saw brewers board cans in a store they were bootlegged, it happens but we try to stay ahead of it. as more production comes on line and we have enough of those to last they will get out as well but so far, not yet.

Quick question... Boat beer pretty much every where these days? Driving up from Florida back home and wanted to pull off 95 somewhere to grab a few packs of Carton (maybe Kane) best spot to do this? Saw that Cranbury BuyRite might be a logical spot.

Yeah, it's probably the easiest on/off from the NJ Tpk (you can leave the highway at Exit 8, take 133 > 33N, hit Cranbury BuyRite and then jump back on the Tpk at 8A - no backtracking!). Both Boat and Head High were in stock a few days ago, IIRC, but no guarantee. Wouldn't say Boat is "everywhere" but it's getting there as far as stores with good or better selections. Head High's more limited.

If you folks are craving some bomb ass OG IPA I would highly recommend you pick up this beer. Super drinkable at 9.9%. Reminds me of Egoipa, if that’s your thing.

I thought it was much better than Egoipa.
Reminds me of DFH 120 (as intended), but more quaffable, and from what I remember it is a bit like Bell's Hopslam with the hop presence and slight sweetness. This is one of my favorite beers Carton has ever done, and highly reccomend it.

But buyer beware this is not one of those trendy, saccharine hazy NEIPAs.

I brought a week-old 4-pack home to Northern Va and it blew minds. Well done beer.

I also liked it better than Egoipa and agree it’s one of the best beers Carton has done. When they do this style they just absolutely nail it.

I do not find the beer similar to 120 though and did not think the beer was intended to remind me of 120. I find 120 much sweeter with a more syrupy feel. It’s been a while since I’ve had that beer, but I don’t recall it having as much of a dank quality as 99 Additions. Huge difference in ABV as well, as you pointed out, 99 is more quaffable.

Maybe more like 90 Minute? I’ve only had one from the 4 pack I bought. I agree, good stuff and a nice departure from the haze.

Had some Shipwreck last night and it was tasting as good as ever. Perhaps my favorite barrel beer!

I was able to pick up 99 Additions, Decoy and Gilded Lily locally. They also had BDG, Milk and O'dub. It is a pretty great time to be a fan of the orange can.
