Funny you say that but it reminded me of the "Steal this Beer" episode Augie did at
Tired Hands. Jean served Augie a mystery beer and asked him if he knew what it was.
Augie was not able to identify it. It was Boat.

 

Been away... anyone went today and know if there's enough Pumpkin and Unjunct? Dying to get some more Pumpkin and try Unjunct.

 

I didn't go today but I did go yesterday. Seemed to be plenty and they still have a case limit. Go Wednesday.

 

most our beers use different yeasts, you're probably noting the water although we do do some water corrections on certain beers as well

 

ah yes boat and hop hands on top of each other, that was a good day

 

Still working on my case of Ego and really enjoying it. It drinks big but not with the cloying malt sweetness or overt bitter finish of similar abvs.

Was there last weekend too. Very tasty!

Not sure how much Pumpkin and Unjunct were left and trying to decide how late I can go today.

 

I was there yesterday and it looked they had plenty of each.

I need that in my life.

 

Stopped by for more Unjunct. It's an amazing stout. How did they get that body at 8.6%? In and out in 5 minutes. I'm in love with the format and what their doing.

 

I'm hoping to pick up more unjunct. Only got a 4 pack of each of the pumpkin Cream and unjunct before I left town for a wedding. Drank both, pumpkin was a bit too boozy tasting for me but unjunct was perfect. I'm praying there's more tomorrow at opening.

 

It was listed as a case per on their Facebook page today so it should be available tomorrow

Go Sorachi > Unjunct > Sorachi

Those first few sips of each are mind-blowing.

 

I was going back and fourth from focal/heady to unjunct yesterday and let me tell you, it was wild.
