I'm heading down to Manalapan NJ from CT in a couple of weeks and was wondering if Dune Fruit is around at stores or does it go quick like Boat and 077? Assuming it does, but thought I'd ask. I'm definitely going to stop at Carton brewery as it's not too out of the way but was looking for any recommendations for stores to stop at in the area. Also, how crazy is Carton on a Saturday afternoon? Are there separate can/growler lines? Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it.
IMO Dune Fruit was not up to their usual stuff, but I might be in the minority. As for visiting Carton, it's worth it but it does get crazy crowded mostly due to a small bar area. I would also go to Kane as long as you're taking the trip. Awesome beer also and a much bigger space to hang out.
I live in manalapan nj 6 months out of the year and I'm a definantly once a week visitor to carton and kane..if you want to take in the area during the day I suggest Carton as early as possible...the water is waking distance and there are also a few bars within a few blocks that you can sit at and serve some crafts...kane is in the middle of warehouses, much bigger than Carton but nothing walking distance..never lines unless the breweries are releasing something good. I think I waited 10mins the day of the Dune fruit release..and maybe 10mins the day mexican brunch was released..which is nothing...now ANTEAD Is a different story..
I hated Dune Fruit to be honest. I loved basically everything else but thought Dune Fruit tasted like bile.
