Carton Help - NJ

    Hi all,

    I will be in Englewood Cliffs, NJ for work next Wednesday and was hoping to track down some Boat & 077XX cans. I'm happy to drive as far as necessary to get it. If anyone can point me in the direction of a shop(s) that have these readily available, it would be greatly appreciated!

    I would call the store ahead of time to check that they have some in stock. The Whole Foods in Paramus sells it. I would also check Carton's website, they have a pretty good website that tells you all the stores that carry it. If you want to take a drive, Joe Canals in Woodbridge and Shop Rite Liquors in Westfield normally have some as well. There are probably some stores in between that I'm missing, but I would check Carton's website.

    Thanks for the tips! I saw the list of retailers on their web-site, but wasn't sure if this was a similar situation to Heady Topper in Vermont, where many retailers get weekly deliveries, but sells out very quickly. Hoping to find a retailer who has stock readily available.

    No, it is nowhere near the level of Heady Topper. They normally deliver enough to my store that lasts nearly long enough until they get their next delivery. January/February were slim pickings because Regular Coffee took up most of their tanks, but it is beginning to be around again.

    Joe Canal's in Woodbridge was sold out when I got there yesterday.

    It was delivered 2 Wednesday's ago to Whole Foods Paramus and Drinks in HoHoKus. Drinks is sold out. Whole foods is worth a call. Seems to last longer there.

    Augie posted recently in another thread they can at the brewery once a month and canned last on 2/12 so it should be soon.

    Would love to know when fresh cans are coming. I think they last canned feb 12th and typically do it once a month. Only @augiecarton knows for sure though.

    North Jersey deliveries are on wednesdays and only once after its canned. More like once a month. Whole foods probably just doesn't get around to putting it on the floor until the thursday after its delivered on a wednesday. Last delivered 2/18

    I've been in this store twice a week for the past year on my route to and from NYC to Poconos, and I have never seen anything from Carton here.

    How quickly does it sell out?

    Is not my normal store, my store normally has it for a week or two at least. Remember that Carton will only be in the fridge, they do permit stores to sell it warm

    I'm two towns over from Englewood Cliffs. I'll check around for some more carton stuff but I have some from a week ago in the cellar. If you can't find any, I'd be happy to work out something with you!

    I was at Paramus Whole Foods Saturday 2/21 and it was slim pickins all the way around. No Carton to be found, no NC County Line, limited Terrapin, limited DuClaw. Made Hulk angry....

    I have my cellar fridge the wife gave me for Christmas. It's set at the perfect temp and carton beers have shelf three all the time, buddy!

    If it's any consolation, Total Wine nearby carries NC County Line, and their website is pretty accurate about 'out of stock' stuff- so at least you can see beforehand if it's worth stopping in.
