Just wait a week or 2 and it will be nice and fresh everywhere. That hohokus store posts on facebook and beermenus pretty regularly when they have carton. I've followed them a few months and have been happy with the results.

Thanks for the tip! JC Woodbridge got a delivery today and I was a able to pick up a few 4pks of both Boat and 077XX. Much appreciated!

Same deal goes for the end of the weekend?

Driving CT to Philly on Friday night and back north from Philly on Sunday morning. Anything off the highway?

Easier to find a store on Friday night or visit the brewery (which is further out of the way) on Sunday morning?

If you dont mind driving like you said, nothing could be fresher than just driving to the brewery. Its probably about an hour fifteen from englewood with no traffic. Plus you'll be able to sample their other brews.

You'll have no problem getting some at the brewery, but it is a hike. Joe Canals Woodbridge is very close to the Turnpike and where OP just found a fresh shipment.

Picking up where this thread left off- if anybody in the Englewood area would like to know of a place close by that serves Carton and Kane, I was just given a tip that New York Wing Factory in Fort Lee has a new beer manager/program. Their list is updated on Beer Menus, so don't check their website. Here is what is on tap now (including the Orange Swisher Blunt):

I haven't been there yet, but I'm pretty pumped. It looks like a great place to wind down with a beer and some wings after the hellacious trip across the GWB, and maybe grab a growler to go.

611 N Maple Ave HoHoKus is convenient between CT and Philly. Assume you're taking the Tappan Zee.
