Yea it's pretty great, still think 077XX is a touch better, either way I'm very glad they finally made an IPA.

yeah, I've always been a fan of hoppun (i believe that is an ipa...), so nice to see a canned single ipa. will be cool to see how ego (I believe that will be the DIPA version) will be relative to o dub

They call Hoppun a pale but it's hoppy enough I can see what you're saying. Just realized when I looked that up all my ratings got thrown out in the word count thing. Now I have to do Hoppun and IDIPA.

IDIPA (ID IPA) is a reference to Freud's personality theory (3 different parts of the personality etc), specifically the id, ego, and superego...the plan is to make a single, double and triple ipa using those names.

Has anyone from NYC taken public transportation out to Carton?

I heard there is a ferry out of wall street that takes you over to NJ in the general vicinity of the brewery (Belford/ Harbor Way). Is the ferry and the schedule a nightmare?

    Thank you.

I took the ferry over to Carton last weekend. Make sure you get this Groupon deal to save 50% off your roundtrip. We departed from the first stop (E. 35th St.) at 8am -- the other stops along the way are Wall St., Sandy Hook (where most will clear out) and Atlantic Highlands (you'll get off here). There was some great advice in this thread that helped me. We ended up not biking, but it was a quick Uber ride into town.

With the limited beach time left in the summer, be prepared for a packed ferry.

glad you made it, just for clarity on a weekend the boat doesn't stop at atlantic highlands but rather highlands. i know its silly that they are two different towns that touch each other with essentially 100% of 1 name in common but hey that's our jersey. anyway the uber ride you took was from connor's ferry stop in highlands to the town of atlantic highlands. on weekdays the boat does stop a atlantic highlands, but on weekends they provide a shuttle between the two boat stops its like 2 miles that was that yellow "shamrock stage coach" bus, you were by getting your uber. either way its pretty easy, right?

Last picture I saw on Facebook last night showed 7 or 8 4-packs left at the brewery. It was posted by a customer and not by the brewery. Not sure how much went out the door after the pic.

Didn't see it listed on the Facebook page along with 077 and Boats as cans available yesterday, so I'm guessing its gone.
