Based on last year it shouldn't have an issue making it to next weekend.

I'm not so sure about it lasting to next weekend, 2x the limit and at least 2x the hype this year, all depends on how much they canned for sale at the brewery

This ages well too right? So no reason for people not to buy the full limit?

Ages extremely well. Last year's started taking on toffee notes last spring and the most recent can I had several months ago was like drinking a liquid Werther's Original.

Sounded like there was a LOT canned but I suspect it will be very busy there today. Took no chances and ran over there last night to pick up my 4 - 4packs so I am happy! Can't wait to try the one from last year after aging it a year.

Just curious but how long has anybody aged the regular coffee for up to this point? Don't want to let any sit around for too long and start to go a bit. I was thinking of setting one aside to hit about 2 years but probably wouldnt want to go much beyond that.

I was thinking of going Sunday but I'm strongly considering making the trek down tonight after work instead. I think the weekend will be quite active there.

This is beer no0b question, but while we're on the topic is it ok to age refrigerated? Better to age at room temp? Is there a difference between the two? Question is specific to this beer but also in general. I've always been a bit confused around refrigerated vs. room temp and if it was once refrigerated, storing at room temp etc. no0b question I know, but figured I'd ask. Refrigerator space is getting tight

Could be wrong but I was always under the impression that refrigeration or keeping it cold haults the aging process, hence why you're told to keep IPA's cold at all times. Ideally, you want to age at cellar temp which is around 55 degrees but room temp won't kill it.

And what about storing something that had been refrigerated at room/temp 50 degrees. Any truth the myth (that might only exist in my own head) that refrigerating a beer, then storing it at room temp, then refrigerating again "skunks" it?

Again, to my knowledge, the only way beer skunks is from extreme temperature differential and UV light. So if it goes from freezing or almost frozen to boiling, that will skunk it. If it's going from 50 to room temp then to 35, you're fine. Plus this beer is canned so 0 chance of UV light skunking.

Very cool thanks. I keep my apartment at around 70-72 degrees so that might be a bit too warm to not refrigerate and no room for a cellar. I'm afraid to take out of the fridge, but with this regular coffee release I may just like a couple 4-packs out and see what happens

You should be fine. Find a dark closet, they are always a bit cooler.

Better yet, a dark closet up against an exterior wall. Might buy yourself a few extra degrees there too.
