@augiecarton any insight into when this is going out into distro? I'm going to try to make it over today, but if I can't I don't know if I'll be able to this weekend.

 

started this morning probably take through wednesday thursday to get all over this very long state. keep in touch with your local place that gets it

 

Already hit some stores. Grabbed two-4pks earlier. Look forward to drinking a few and storing a few.

 

If you don't mind me asking - what store did you spot them in? Was at JCanals in Lawrenceville earlier and no dice.

 

Gerards On Bridge Ave in point pleasant and Spirits on Richmond Ave in point pleasant. I think it was $16.99/4pk of 12oz cans

 

Hate to hound. But when you say long state, does that mean it's making its way down to Atlantic County? Checked in with all my local places that get Carton and they seem to be in the dark or unaware. If not, I'll just have to get my fair share at the tap takeover in AC!

Any way to get this in NYC this year, or was the closest public transportation method if I wanted to get a can - assuming there are any left!

 

Thanks @augiecarton! Yes, these places get cans...at least for a few minutes before the word gets out. I'll keep in touch with my places and hope to get lucky.

 

While everyone is busy chasing Regular Coffee, I quietly grabbed the last three 4-packs of Sit Down Son that I saw. Much more excited about that.

Anyone at the brewery towards the end of the day yesterday got any idea if there will be any regular coffee cans available today (sunday), I know they will update the facebook a little later but takes me like 2hr15min to get there wanted to leave by 10am with an idea if at all possible, thanks.

 

You might want to call them. I don't think they'll post a new update today, although they might post on yesterday's. I got some yesterday. There were plenty left but it was early. Had one last night. Love that beer.

Hey Augie,

I was at the brewery yesterday and picked up 8 RC's. I'd never had it before. I know its not your favorite, so I'm hoping you're not offended by my review. I just didn't pick up any coffee notes at all. I'll try another. I plan on cellering the rest. What can I expect? I'm hoping it smooths out and is a little less sweet forward.

I also picked up another half-growler of Shipwreck Porter which I plan to trade. I have another I'm planning to cellar as long as possible. Any idea how long that might be? It's a truly unique Porter. Thanks for all you've done for the Monmouth County Brewing community!

 

Didn't see an answer on this one, but want to know too. Did any kegs of this hit NYC last year? I want to try it because I'm curious but would prefer to avoid setting up a trade for a single can.

 

Cans are out, but if you already made the trip or are in pursuit then you should be able to find it in the surrounding area/local shops

 

That's surprising to hear. There's a big coffee taste in this beer.
