Fortunately the tasting room isn't completed and not its full size yet. I'm sure once the upcoming release happens, they'll have time to work on it once again. Can't wait for 4/9.

Ha! I actually said the same thing when Del Norte was first out and now the Mega Citronic. Great stuff that pretty much no one else in SoCal is doing so well. As far as the tasting room goes, it's just a temporary set up from what I know, the actual, main tasting room is still under construction.

Ah... I just slap an untappd filter on all my IPA checkjns to make them look hazier. Makes em taste way better.

I have a hard time finding a good readily available one. Noble Citra Showers and KRBC Citra Double are both amazing but not available nearly as often as Id like! Im really looking forward to trying the Casa IPA, Ive enjoyed all of their beers to date.

I know you say it's not a destination, but I'm making it one lol. Hitting up Lady Face, and since it was mentioned here, definitely hitting up Institution. Can anyone be as kind to recommend any others? Or anything surrounding worth checking out? Open to Wine places as well (for the wife). Cheers gents!

Enjoy. When I was there, a group showed up from Modesto - they said they drove specifically to visit Casa, so I guess it could be a destination. Glad to hear that they're building it out.

B+P also can't shake unclean tap lines.

Very true, they get some great stuff in the bottle shop. And even great stuff on draft. But it always tastes off because of their cleanliness

Wades Wines in Westlake for beer and wine, your wife should like it there. Also, Topa Topa in Ventura has a really nice bourbon barrel imperial stout on right now if your into that type of beer.

I have been rather impressed by not just the quality, but the quantity of releases and variations that Casa has released so far. They usually have 6-8 beers on at all times, and still have bottle releases for members and even public. I can't imagine it being easy for new breweries to be able to churn out quality and quantity right from the get go. Excited for their newer stuff to come down the pipeline that they brew with the solera method. Should just continue to add layers of complexity to their already quality first run batches.

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for the release but hope you all will report back with pics of the beer and feedback on how the release was. I'm just as excited as all of you for Zarzamora.
