Hey all Im going to be heading up to Eugene this weekend and was wondering if anybody could tell me if theres any bottleshops in the area that I might have a chance at grabbing some wonderful Cascade sours. Any help would be much appreciated. Going to be there for a short business trip the drive to Portland just wont fit into the itinerary. Thanks on advance.

After looking at Eugene Beer Places on BA, I clicked Bier Stein and see that their web site advertises the following Cascade bottles for sale: Sang Noir, Apricot and The Vine.

You know you can order all of the Cascade shelf beers online, plus some, right?

Shipping costs and minimums are a pain in the ass, though.

Also, Sang Noir is awesome and long gone at Cascade.

double-check that Bier Stein list and call ahead to be sure. not sure how often they update, but i checked the list before i headed to Eugene last time and they didn't have any of the five bottles i saw on their list that i planned on getting.

Same with the 16 tons taphouse on 13th ave. I think they may have the Kriek as well.

Prices are a couple of bucks more than what you'll pay at the barrel house for the same beers, but the price is the same whether you take them to go or enjoy them on the premises.

I should add that the Bier Stein and the taphouse are just a couple of blocks from one another, so if you're going to stop by one spot to see what's on offer, it's no trouble to stop by the other place as well.

    Good luck.

And if you don't trade it's still a pain in the ass. I'd rather just buy one or two locally.

They also don't ship to some places, like PA :slight_frown:

Was at 16 tons last night. They currently have bottles of the vine, Vlad, kriek and the apricot. Didn't check the price or the years.
