I've had a couple bottles and didn't. 2012 had something going on but wouldn't say it was that. I got more fruit on 2013 too.
I will say it's gotten better as the bottle has gone on. Should have let it settle for a bit before I pulled my jump to conclusions mat out of the closet.
My 2013 bottle tasted like poison vomit. So I'm going to go with "yes". I was actually worried it was going to make me sick (not because of the taste, but because there had to be something bad for me in it to taste like that). I'll note that I have yet to have a blueberry beer that didn't have this sort of vomity flavor to it. But the Cascade was particularly bad and ultimately I felt like I was drinking straight rubbing alcohol.
I had one a few months ago and didn't get this at all. It wasn't as good as what I drank at the brewery this spring, but there was nothing wrong with it.
Absolutely no taste of acetone or anything remotely close when I had it at the brewery, sounds like either an infection or something funky going on with your taste buds tonight.
Opened it fresh and didn't like it. Opened a second one last week and it had IMO improved significantly. No acetone and definitely no vomit. Have 2 more in the cellar aging. Will probably wait another year and give it another go.
