Well that's a bummer. I made sure to visit on my first trip to Portland, and once I planned a second trip I immediately signed up to tap the barrel--they hosted a weekly (?) cask tapping. Good memories. Best wishes to all their employees!
I see what you did there… In all seriousness though, according to the article it seems like there’s some messiness with the ownership structure that is contributing to the sudden closure. Like a handshake agreement that didn’t have a contingency plan ready for the case of a sudden (unfortunate) event.
