I stumbled upon a hidden gem that carries the Cascade sours. I really want to try them but Is 37.50 what people are paying for these beers!?

No, at least not up until the time they stopped shipping .... $20 -$25 was the usual amount, depending on the brew.

$30 seems to be the going rate, but California is much closer to Cascade than New York.

$27.99-$34.99 is the general price range in SE PA that I have come across.

I opened up a forum for this topic and I don't know why it didn't come up. There must be some distribution people or liquor stores that were not happy with people people able to buy direct from the source. Legalities of beer crossing state lines my as*.. I don't know if Cascade is ever going to start shipping to the general public but I'm definitely not spending $38+ tax on Sang Noir as good as it is.

30 the few times I've seen them here. Website prices were 25-30 depending on the one when they were still selling them, if memory serves.

    Which one was $37 OP?

Before they stopped shipping direct, ones like the apricot, kriek, blueberry, were around $20. But things like The Vine, Vlad the Imp Aler and Figaro were more like $25/30. I thing Sang Noir, Sang Royal, Noyeaux were even more.

The thing is, Cascade beers are expensive, period. But they're typically worth it. Especially if you're only buying a bottle every now and again.

The Sang Royal and Noyaux that hit SoCal recently are generally running between between $35-40. Everything else should be around $30.

$20-$30 in PDX. Some older vintages may be a little higher.

Get a buddy, split the cost of bottle, it's 25 ounces, pick good occasion to open and have two 6.25 ounce pours a piece over some good conversation.

The prices went up during the last round of distribution. Bottles in the Bay Area used to go for $20-24 (Kriek, Apricot, The Vine). Recently, normal prices are $30+, and I've seen as high as $45 (for Noyeaux, which never made it out here previously). It's a bummer they're so high as, while I love Cascade sours, that price is too steep given you'll pay $10-20 less at the brewpub.

Funny that the price increase happened just as their distribution here seems to get better. It's easier to find Cascade bottles than ever, but they languish on the shelf due to the high prices.

As much as I enjoy Cascade I feel that I can do better for the price

You can get Cantillon delivered from Belgium for better than that price. I love Cascades beers but they are so damn expensive.

When they're released in NY you can usually find them. Last year I bought an Apricot at Top Hops for around $24, but it's almost impossible to find it cheaper than that. New Beer sells them for about what you paid. The only place you can reliably find them (when they're available) for cheaper than $30 is in Westchester. I bought a Vine and Kriek at Half Time in Mamaroneck for $22 and $24, respectively.
