Well, it finally happened where I seemingly woke up one day and went from hating sours to craving them over almost everything else. I'm looking to trade for some and I'm interested in picking up some of the Cascade ones (Vlad, Bourbonic Plague, from the Vine, etc.) but I'm having trouble getting an idea on what they are going for. Any insight on numbers, cost, etc. would be appreciated.

The 3 you listed, Vlad, BP, and Vine are pretty reasonable to get. The bottles tend to pricey, like $23 or so. The Vine was briefly distributed, but I don't think Vlad and BP ever were.

I think I have also traded other sours that are available regionally for Cascades. For me, that meant Weyerbacher Riserva and Rapture, Cisco Monomoy Kriek and Woods Series, and also some Cantillon CG and Rose. It shouldn't take a 200 bottle limit Brewery-only release that was aged in Pappy van Winkle barrel.

There was some minor distribution in Portland of BP and Vlad, and those two should be released again at some point. Which I'd wait for - I have 4 bottles of Vlad and 1 of Bourbonic left, and I'm not sure they have a ton of cellar life left.
