Just saw Automatic Brewing Co's status on Facebook and they mention their collab beer with Hopworks for PDX Beer Week as being a Cascadian White Ale. Huh? Is this just a Wit/White IPA? Is this a new thing? A stick in the eye of Black IPA shouting Greg Koch?

Maybe stuff like Deschutes Chainbreaker? I didn't care much for Chainbreaker myself, and I generally don't find the Belgian yeasts play well with strong doses of hops. YMMV.

It's a Belgian Witbier with hops, just like Chainbreaker. Nothing like an IPA. At least Houblon Chouffe doesn't use wheat...
